Chef Jr.

At the age of 6, I learned to make mac and cheese. That was the start of my cooking journey. Since then, my Mother has taught me new recipes almost every day. She has taught me the importance of cleanliness in the kitchen and how ingredients no matter how humble can become something amazing. I learned to make tacos, pasta, chicken, and many more recipes. I briefly took cooking classes at Sur la Table and I enhanced my skills further making dishes like; steak tagliata, olive oil cakes, peach tarts, and risotto. I wanted to show that cooking can become an escape to help people get through, as well as showing them my talents.  So, I try to make my Sunday evening IG lives as fun as possible while staying professional. People tend to like the way I am brave enough to cook live. Chef Graham Elliot, one of the chefs I look up to, joined a live and said “ it takes a brave person to cook live because one little mess up could ruin everything.” Cooking takes Courage and that I learned from my parents, they have always told me to be bold, stand out and never try to blend in.  I will remain cooking because I love the way cooking makes me feel. I love that feeling of being proud of what I put out after I'm done cooking. Hey, I am only a teenager and have so much more to learn and give to the culinary world.
